| This involves 4 hours of driving in a van with stops and about 4 hours of walking. It will provides an overview of the Prospects and Play Types of the Foothills of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin using maps, cross sections, seismic and field examples. |

above) with a helicopter flight over the Moose Mountain
Oil and Gas Production and a 6 hour hike across Moose
Mountain to examine the impact of structural geology on

| This field trip includes the Moose Mountain Field Trip (see above) with an additional day in the Southern Alberta Foothills. It includes a visit to Savanna Creek Gas Field and a helicopter flight along the Livingstone Range to over view the structural styles that has made some of the recent gas discoveries work and where else this style may be applicable in the Foothills of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. |
